Nuu-chah-nulth Scrabble

JANUARY 2024

Victoria Custom Laser was honored to recently collaborate with the Victoria Native Friendship Center to assist with the creation of a custom scrabble set for the Nuu-chah-nulth indigenous language.

Working closely with VNFC’s language hub coordinator, VCL created the scrabble tile templates, including number of tiles and point values for each character in the Nuu-chah-nulth language.

VCL created multiple, 210 tile, Nuu-chah-nulth language scrabble sets for use in the Victoria Native Friendship Center’s language education department. These scrabble sets will provide education and enjoyment to those learning and keeping the Nuu-chah-nulth language alive.
