Material Considerations
Common materials we cut and engrave are:
Wood (plywood, balsa, basswood)
Acrylic (up to 1/4”)
EVA Foam
Cardboard, Foam Core, Cardstock
Leather
Equipment
VCL uses a computer controlled, fixed focus, 10 Watt diode laser.
Typical material thickness we cut are between 3mm (1/8in) to 10mm (3/8in).
Engraving can be done on many different materials as long as they have a flat engraving area.

Cutting/engraving MAX project size:
400mm (15.75in) x 410mm (16in)Material MAX thickness: 10mm (0.375in)
Cannot cut/engrave clear or semi translucent acrylics
Cannot engrave cylindrical objects
